Rob Elliott is a wiki, website and intranet developer, CSS expert, database developer and guitarist.

Rob spent nearly 30 years as a career British Diplomatic Service Officer with postings to Prague, Beijing, Antigua, Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Jerusalem and Abuja as well as time in London. Rob's final position with the Diplomatic Service was as First Secretary/Project Director of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office intranet, FCONet. Since leaving the Diplomatic Service Rob has undertaken intranet development, project management, database and mapping work for the Scottish Government, Scottish Environment Protection Agency and is now permanently settled as Intranet and Knowledge Manager for Capita.

Rob spent a lot of time surrounded by music through the 70s and 80s as and when the day job allowed and played acoustic guitar at the BBC and behind Magna Carta, Johnny Coppin, Cliff Richard and others. He had a Middle East Number 1 record in 1988 with Night Magic, and also had two 3-hour live radio programmes a week on Capita Radio in Abu Dhabi from 1986 to 1988 with the freedom and time to play everything from Alice Cooper to Barclay James Harvest to Ralph McTell (plus a lot of other stuff!)

Rob holds the Prince2 Practitioner project management qualification and also the ISEB Certificate in Project Management for Information Systems.

Rob is a member of Wikidot's first line support team and provides community management for Wikidot.

In 2003 Rob was honoured with the LVO (Royal Victorian Order) by Her Majesty the Queen for personal service to the Monarchy.

Victoria Elliott is an administrator who grew up in the UK, Japan and Hong Kong and has worked in Hong Kong, Jerusalem and Nigeria.

Rob and Victoria have 3 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 cats and 2 dogs.
